The Team Policy Invention Workbook utilizing the classical method of the Five Common Topics of Invention to assist with researching and expanding student knowledge of the resolution, by asking good questions, which aid them in developing their own arguments/cases. New this year, students begin with basic political theory readings and thought questions, which are not resolution specific. The readings are designed to expand students policy analysis, helping them to generate arguments against new cases. Then, through the Five Common Topics of Invention and Thought Questions, students take a deeper look at the resolution, learn to research well, and gain a broader perspective of the policy. This is not a casebook, although one editable affirmative case and affirmative and negative briefs for the case are provided. The Invention Workbook is particularly suitable for clubs and Classicus communities, as well as kickstarting individual research. Sample photos are of the TP Invention Workbook for the previous season. The updated TP Invention Workbook follows a similar structure.  The instant download is for the TP resolution for the 2026-27 Stoa season. Digital downloads are non-refundable upon purchase.
